Cuba's Domadores team ready to begin 2015 World Series

Cuba's boxing team Domadores (Tamers, in English) is in the final preparations to defend the championship of World Series of Boxing (WSB) beginning Jan. 16.
According to Domadores' coach Rolando Acebal, who was elected as the best coach in the past season, the Cuban team, which includes 32 boxers, is ready for the WBS 5th season to be held first in Havana's Sport City.
Domadores will first face Morocco's Lions, who will debut in WSB.
Acebal said Cuba's team is led by Olympic champions Roniel Iglesias (69-kg) and Robeisy Ramirez (56-kg).
The Cuban team also includes Erislandy Savon (91-kg), who was elected as the past season's best boxer, when Cuba debuted and won the championship.
Also, twice world champions Lazaro Alvarez (60-kg) and Julio Cesar La Cruz (81-kg), as well as world runner-up and Olympic bronze medal winner Yasnier Toledo (64-kg) are part of Domadores.
After the five-division matches against the Moroccan team in Havana, Domadores will face Algeria's Desert Hawks.
The WSB finals will be held in Dubai in June 11 and 12, some days before the beginning of Toronto 2015 Pan-American Games.
