Saudi Arabian Alrajhi wins car eighth stage

Saudi Arabian pilot Yazeed Alrajhi on Sunday win car's eighth stage of 2015 Dakar Rally, a 784-km special route, one of the race's longest one, between Uyuni (Bolivia) and Iquique (Chile).

Alrajhi, from Toyota team, left behind the leader of the rally, Qatari pilot Nasser Al Attiyah, and his partner, South African Giniel de Villiers.

Behind Alrajhi, Argentine Orlando Terranova arrived one minute and 12 seconds after and later Al Attiyah with a difference of 2 minutes and 36 seconds.

On Monday, cars and trucks will have a day of rest in Iquique, waiting for the motorcycles and quads to complete their eighth stage.
