Albanian FM condemns Boko Haram terrorist attack in Nigeria

Xinhua, January 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday strongly condemned the Wednesday terrorist attack by militant Islamic group Boko Haram, saying these acts undermined the security and stability of Nigeria, as well as continuously deteriorate the country's humanitarian situation.

Boko Haram has been targeting civilians in northeastern Nigeria, claiming the lives of innocent people and causing the destruction of dozens of villages in the country, leading local populations to flee.

Albania expressed its support to the Nigerian authorities and population in tackling the terrorist threat of Boko Haram, and in the fight against extremism. Endit
