Austrian exports decline in Oct.

Austrian exports for October 2014 have fallen 4.4 percent to 13.84 billion U.S. dollars year-on-year after increasing in September, Statistics Austria announced Friday.

Imports also fell by a similar 4.3 percent to 13.96 billion dollars, leaving a 0.12 billion-dollar negative trade balance relatively unchanged from the previous month.

The poorer October figures are in particular marked by a 10-month slump in exports to Russia. Endit
