Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs published the action schedule for 2015 Wednesday.

Most crucial points for the Polish diplomacy this year include: strengthening cooperation with biggest EU countries, strategic cooperation with Ukraine, cooperation in the field of shale gas extraction and strengthening Poland's position within the NATO.

Polish Press Agency informed on Wednesday about the diplomatic schedule planned for 2015 year. According to the schedule, among the most important challenges and tasks ahead of Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be "strengthening of cooperation with the EU countries, in order to promote and protect Polish interests in the EU."

However, Poland is still continuing efforts to draw benefits from its position in the EU - both geographically and politically, especially since the former Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has been chosen for the head of the EU Council. Therefore, "deepening the political dialogue within the Visegrad group and the Weimar Triangle" continues to be one of the main tasks of the Polish diplomacy.

As far as the NATO issue is concerned, other tasks scheduled in 2015 are "performing the basic functions of NATO, as the Euro-Atlantic defense system and ensuring NATO's investments on defense infrastructure in Poland" and "supporting the works on the creation of a comprehensive NATO missile defense system."
