Seoul shares end higher

Seoul shares ended slightly higher on Wednesday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) inched up 1.38 points, or 0.07 percent, to 1,883.83 at the close. Trading volume stood at 277.35 million shares worth 3.7 trillion won (3.36 billion U.S. dollars).

The South Korean currency finished at 1,099.9 won against the greenback, down 1.1 won from Tuesday's close. Endi
