Two people were killed and a dozen of others injured Monday when a school bus collided with a freight train in the U.S. northern state of North Dakota, local media reported.
The accident took place Monday afternoon in Larimore in the northeast of the state, as the school bus from the Larimore Public School failed to yield to a stop sign at a railroad crossing where a westbound freight train was passing by, local authorities were quoted as saying.
The bus driver, 62, and a student, 17, were killed after being ejected from the bus as the train struck it on the passenger side. About 12 other students were wounded, with three being listed as in "very serious condition," according to the reports. Endi
