World Bank backs China's rail, water projects

The World Bank has approved two loans worth 350 million U.S. dollars for urban rail and flood protection projects in China.
The Zhengzhou Urban Rail Project is getting 250 million dollars.
It will connect the center of Henan's capital with the city's northwest and southeast development areas.
The project is expected to benefit more than 900-thousand people who live or work in the areas.
The other project, worth 100-million US dollars, is meant to address flood risks and water pollution in Chongqing.
