China emerged as Algeria's largest supplier in the first 11 months of 2014, figures of Customs showed on Sunday.
China topped the list of the largest supplier of Algeria with 7.44 billion U.S. dollars, followed by France with 5.89 billion dollars, according to the figures reported by APS news agency.
China entered Algerian market a decade ago, and gradually became a rival of France, the former largest supplier for decades.
China exceeded France for the first time in 2013 by developing non-oil trade exchanges worth more than 8 billion dollars.
China and Algeria raised the bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership in February, 2014, the first of its kind among China's relationship with Arab countries.
