Editor's Note: The assistance centers in Guangzhou that accommodate children who used to wander the streets of the city hope to return each child to his or her family.
Li Chaoyong, a 12-year-old who lived on the streets in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, for a very long time, is sent to an assistance center of homeless children in the city on Sept. 1, 2014.
