According to statistics by China Customs, from January to April of 2011, China-Togo total trade value reached US$574 million, up by 46.4% year on year. Among that, China’s export to Togo was US$553 million, up by 51.7% year on year; and China’s import from Togo was US$21 million, down by 24.3% year on year.
The value of newly-signed contracts of China non-financial direct investment in Togo is US$600 thousand; the value of newly-signed project contracts in Togo is US$155 million, with a turnover of US$14.02 million. By the end of April, China’s business personnel in Togo are 420.
