Foreign Trade Statistics of Mexico (09/2010)
 
According to statistics by Secretariat of Economy of Mexico, from January to September, goods import and export of Mexico is $435.6 billion, up by 32.3% year on year (same as below). Among it, export is $216.81 billion, up by 33.5%; and import is $218.79 billion, up by 31.1%. Trade deficit is $1.98 billion, down by 55.1%.

In September, import and export of Mexico is $51.16 billion, up by 20.2%. Among it, export is $25.3 billion, up by 22%; and import is $25.86 billion, up by 18.5%. Trade deficit is $0.56 billion, down by 47.9%.

From January to September, Mexico-China bilateral goods trade is $35.37 billion, up by 45.1%. Among it, Mexico’s export to China is $2.74 billion, up by 69%, accounting for 1.3% of Mexico’s total export, up by 0.3 percentage point; and Mexico’s import from China is $32.63 billion, up by 43.4%, accounting for 14.9% Mexico’s total import, down by 1.3 percentage point. Mexico’s trade deficit is $29.89 billion, up by 41.4%. China is Mexico’s largest trade deficit source country.
By September, China is Mexico’s third largest export destination and the second largest import source country.
