Foreign Trade Statistics of Mexico (08/2010)
 
According to statistics by Secretariat of Economy of Mexico, from January to August, goods import and export of Mexico is $384.44 billion, up by 34.1% year on year (same as below). Among it, export is $191.51 billion, up by 35.2%; and import is $192.93 billion, up by 33%. Trade deficit is $1.42 billion, down by 57.4%.

In August, import and export of Mexico is $54.53 billion, up by 37.6%. Among it, export is $26.92 billion, up by 38.7%; and import is $27.62 billion, up by 36.5%. Trade deficit is $0.7 billion, down by 16.3%.

From January to August, Mexico-China bilateral goods trade is $30.63 billion, up by 45.1%. Among it, Mexico’s export to China is $2.31 billion, up by 60.9%, accounting for 1.2% of Mexico’s total export, up by 0.2 percentage point; and Mexico’s import from China is $28.32 billion, up by 43.9%, accounting for 14.7% Mexico’s total import, down by 1.1 percentage point. Mexico’s trade deficit is $26.01 billion, up by 42.6%. China is Mexico’s largest trade deficit source country.

By August, China is Mexico’s seventh largest export destination and the second largest import source country.
