Brief Statistics on China Non-financial Direct Investment Overseas in January–July 2013

In January–July 2013, Chinese investors made direct investment overseas in 3,275 enterprises in 156 countries and regions. Direct investment overseas amounted to US$ 50.55 billion, up by 19.7% year-on-year. Of which equity investments and other investments were US$ 40.4 billion, accounting for 79.9%, and earnings reinvested were US$ 10.15 billion, accounting for 20.1%. As of the end of July, China's non-financial direct investment overseas totaled US$ 485.1 billion.
