Bilateral Goods Trade between Australia and China Exceeded 100 billion AUD in Jan.-Nov. of 2011

According to the statistics by Australian Bureau of Statistics, in November of 2011, Australia’s total trade in goods with China was 10.472 billion AUD, up by 8.41% year on year. Among that, its export to China was 6.220 billion AUD (US$6.233 billion), up by 10.77% year on year, accounting for 26.62% of the total goods export. Import from China was 4.252 billion AUD (US$4.261 billion), up by 5.12% year on year, accounting for 20.43% of the total goods import. Trade surplus was 1.968 billion AUD (US$1.972 billion).
From January to November, bilateral goods trade between Australia and China was 103.892 billion AUD (US$108.325 billion), up by 17.85% year on year, exceeding 100 billion AUD. Among that, export to China was 65.435 billion AUD (US$68.264 billion), up by 24.91% year on year, accounting for 27.18% of the total goods export. Import from China was 38.457 billion AUD (US$40.061 billion), up by 7.52% year on year, accounting for 17.97% of the total goods import. Trade surplus was 26.978 billion AUD (US$28.2 billion).
