Brief Statistics of China’s Direct Investment Overseas in First Three Quarters of 2011

According to statistics by MOFCOM and State Administration of Foreign Exchange, in first three quarters of 2011, Chinese investors made direct investment in 130 countries and regions, with total direct investment of US$ 44.57 billion, of which direct investment by non-financial sector amounted to US$ 40.75 billion, up by 12.5% year-on-year, accounting for 91.4%, and total direct investment by financial sector was US$ 3.82 billion, accounting for 8.6%.
