Derailment in NE China suspends train services

A train derailment on Wednesday night has led to the halt of three passenger trains in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, local authorities said.
The accident happened at around 10:45 pm, when a freight train numbered 40291 went out of track in the Chenqing-Qingxi section in Heihe City. Casualties are not immediately known.
The derailment has so far caused three passenger trains to suspend services, including K7033, K7035 and K7036.
The Harbin Railway Administration has sent a rescue team to the site, and the cause of the accident is under way.
