One hundred delegators from the All-China Youth Federation discussed the enterprises' development and cooperation with Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (HIPMI) -- Indonesia Young Entrepreneurs Association on June 16 in Bali Island of Indonesia.

Inda Trimafo Yudha, president of HIPMI, introduced the system and function of the organization as well as the main industry of Bali Island.

"The mainstay industry of Bali Island is tourism. In addition, the arts and sports industries have developed better and better," Yudha said.

"The All-China Youth Federation is the largest youth organization in China with 1,400 national members and 120,000 local members, many of whom are entrepreneurs," said Guo Meijian, the vice general secretary of the All-China Youth Federation and head of the delegation. "The communication produces opportunity, and the cooperation is a win-win situation."

After that, Guo shared the supporting policies of China to young entrepreneurs. Additionally, he said China is an extremely huge market with 1.3 billion population. More Chinese people are attracted to adventure and outdoor travel, which suits the characteristics of tourism in Bali very well.

Yudha introduced the latest tourist attractions of Bali: elephant and chocolate plantation. Before, people had to go to Sumatra Island or further to see elephants. But now, Bali can attract more visitors by offering elephant events.

She also said many Chinese entrepreneurs have invested in Indonesia, mainly focusing on its real estate and tourism. China’s tourism investment in Indonesia ranked No.2 among foreign investors in the industry in 2013. It is common to see Chinese products on the Indonesian market, so she hopes that more Indonesia products can also be seen on the Chinese market.

Young Chinese entrepreneurs from the delegation also discussed their business with their Indonesian counterparts. "We have an office in Indonesia and need a local agency for our products," said Gu Tangsheng, president of Yuchai Group. "Several Indonesian entrepreneurs are very interested and expect further discussion."

Established in Jakarta in 1962, HIPMI is an organization for youth entrepreneurs. The Bali branch was established in 1976. A new president is elected every three years. The current president, Inda Trimafo Yudha, will hold the position until 2016.

Invited by Ministry of Youth and Sports of Indonesia, the All-China Youth Federation began its nine-day visit to Indonesia from June 10 to 18 and toured famous universities as well as several companies and organizations, enhancing the communication between young students and enterprises from both two countries.
