Chinese Premier Li Keqiang urged Malaysia Saturday to carry out a quick and effective search and rescue operation for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight, in an emergency telephone hook-up with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.
Najib extended deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the Chinese passengers.
The Malaysian side would make an all-out effort in search and rescue work, and would send a working group to China to help deal with relevant matters, he said.
