Kabukichō is an entertainment area as well as one of the few large red-light districts in Japan. Located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Kabukichō is lined with restaurants, bars, nightclubs, cinemas, sex shops, love hotels and massage parlors. Known as a "sleepless street," the district is blazing and busy every night of the week. Different from in the red-light district in Amsterdam, there are no red lights with prostitutes in the windows here.
