On July 7, 1937, the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japan erupts. On Aug. 28, three Japanese fighter planes bombed the Shanghai Railway Station where more than 1,800 passengers were waiting to be evacuated to the inland. The scene was horrific. [File photo]
