The T-50 is a twin-engine jet fighter developed by Sukhoi for the Russian Air Force. It is not as stealthy as the U.S. F-22 Raptor, but is more maneuverable than the latter. The T-50 prototype performed its first flight in 2010, and was displayed publicly for the first time at the 2011 MAKS Airshow. It made Russia the second country in the world to have a fifth-generation jet fighter. The aircraft will enter service in 2016.
