China, UK to Offer Education for Chinese Children

Educational organizations from China and Britain jointly announced a plan on Saturday in Guangdong Province to offer comprehensive services for Chinese children aiming to enter top British schools.
The plan, which targets children of Chinese entrepreneurs, will offer high-end educational services from top British schools including Eton School, Caldicott, Wycombe Abbey and Gabbitas Education.
Under the plan, Chinese children will receive primary education services in China from Lions Education, a leading private domestic organization that focuses on educating children, and be sent to top British schools after they are offered registration form certificates.
Gabbitas, which has representative offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dalian and Wenzhou, signed a partnership agreement with Lions Education in July 2012 to offer tailor-made education services for Chinese children.
The partnership will allow Gabbitas to develop and grow its presence in the key Chinese market, said Ian Hunt, managing director of Gabbitas.
"There is a growing demand for high-end overseas education services for Chinese children born in business families," said Tian Xin, CEO of Lions Education.
