Great Achievements Made by 2 Years Reconstructing After Yushu Earthquake

Photo taken on April 12, 2012 shows the 3rd Minzu High School Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Qinghai Province. Great achievements have been made by two-years reconstructing here after the area was devastated by the 7.1-magnitude quake on April 14, 2010. Till now, 843 reconstruction projects had commenced, accounting for 66 percent of all the planned projects, while 158 had been completed. Meanwhile, a total of 20.89 billion yuan (US$3.32 billion), or 73.4 percent of the planned investment, had been deployed on reconstruction. [Xinhua]
