Zhejiang Releases PM2.5 Data for 7 Cities

 

Photo taken on March 25, 2012 shows monitors with double channels of PM2.5 and PM10 at a haze observation station in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province. The website of Zhejiang Environmental Protection Bureau began to release PM2.5 data of seven cities circling Hangzhou Bay including Hangzhou, Niongbo, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Wenzhou and Zhoushan regularly, by updating the statistics everyday. As a stricter air quality measure than PM10, PM2.5 gauges particular matter under 2.5 microns. [Xinhua]
