Passengers take photos to record the first journey on the new high-speed rail link between Jilin and Changchun, Jan.11, 2011. The first intercity high-speed railway in northeast China which is linked between Changchun City and Jilin City opens on Jan.11. The total length of the railway line is 111 kilometers with the designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Longjia International Airport Station, Jiutainan Station and two more reserved stations are designed on the way. The railway will shorten the travel time between Changchun and Jilin from more than 90 minutes to 29 minutes which is of great significance in the process of regional economic integration.
