5 More Confirmed with A/H1N1 Flu in Nepal

The Ministry of Health said that five more people have been diagnosed as A/H1N1 flu cases in Nepal, The Kathmandu Post reported on Wednesday.
According to the daily, people contracting with this flu virus in the country reached 14.
According to deputy coordinator of Influenza Control Project of the health ministry, Jitendra Man Shrestha, those infected include a 45-year-old Australian citizen and the rest are Nepali citizens returning mainly from the United States.
The Australian citizen has already returned to his home country, whereas two others have already completed their treatment and the remaining two are being treated under special supervision, according to the statement issued Tuesday by the ministry.
The first cases of A/H1N1 flu detected in Nepal were a 44-year-old husband, his 38-year-old wife and their eight-year-old son, who arrived in Nepal from the US via Doha last month.
