A/H1N1 Flu Cases in Vietnam Rise to 248

Vietnam's Ministry of Health confirmed 13 more influenza A/H1N1 cases, bringing total number of flu patients in the country to 248, local newspaper the People reported on Wednesday.
Among the confirmed cases, 152 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, said the ministry. The rest are being treated in stable conditions.
For 40 days since the first case reported in the country, Vietnam has not detected transmission of A/H1N1 virus in the local community, according to the health ministry.
It has also reported no death in connection with the A/H1N1 influenza since the outbreak of the disease.
