Vietnam's Ministry of Health confirmed 15 more A/H1N1 flu cases in the country, bringing total number of the flu patients to 181, the local newspaper the Liberty Saigon reported on Friday.

Of these 15 newly-reported cases, 13 patients were detected in the south of Vietnam, one in the north and the rest one in the central region, said the ministry.

Some of these new patients came to Vietnam on flights coded VN532, SQ178, FD3724, VN780, VN 850 and SD3724.

With an increasing number of new infections and the current existence of the bird flu of H5N1 in northern province Quang Ninh of the country, the ministry warned of possible danger posed by a combination of these two kinds of viruses in coming time.

Currently, the ministry continues implementing a broad range of measures to cope with the worsening epidemic.

Meanwhile, the first batch of the made-in-Vietnam A/H1N1 flu vaccine is expected to be come out in six months, said Nguyen Thu Van, Director of the Vaccine and Bio-Technology No1 Company, one of the country's producers of bird flu vaccine.
