Indonesia' Flu A/H1N1 Cases Rise to 20

The number of A/H1N1 flu cases in Indonesia has reached 20 as 12 new cases were confirmed on Friday, the Health Ministry said.

Of the 12 patients, eight are now receiving treatment in hospital in the capital Jakarta, and four others are being treatedin Denpasar, Bali, Lily Sulistyowati, a spokesperson of the ministry was quoted by Antara news agency as saying.

The latest cases involved people returning from Australia, China's Hong Kong and Singapore.

According to previous report, six other people in Medan, North Sumatra, were suspected to suffer from the disease.

A spokesman for Adam Malik General Hospital, Atma Wijaya, said on Friday all of the suspected patients are now being treated in the hospital.
