Thailand Reports 4th Flu Death

A 45-year-old Thai male patient who died early on Wednesday, has become the country's fourth Influenza A/H1N1 death, local media reported.
The man, whose name was not disclosed, has been treated in Bangkok's Rajvethee Hospital for about a week, hospital director Dr. Warunee Jinarat was quoted by the Nation news website as saying.
He succumbed to the flu on Wednesday morning, the director said, after having heart and kidney failure.
The man was heavy drinker and smoker, Warunee added.
Thailand's Public Health Ministry on Saturday reported the country's first two Influenza A/H1N1 fatality.
As of Wednesday morning, Thailand has some 1474 Influenza A /H1N1 case, among whom 1448 have recovered and 22, are being treated in hospitals, Public Health Minister Witthaya Kaewparadai said.
