Health Minister : No A/H1N1 Flu Mutation in Thailand

Thailand's Public Health Minister Witthaya Kaewparadai said on Tuesday there is no A/H1N1 mutation in the country, Thai news agency INN reported.
Meanwhile, the ministry has ordered the Government Pharmaceutical Organisation (GPO) to import 12 million doses of vaccine at a cost of two million baht (US$58 72), Witthaya said.
Moreover, with the World Health Organization 's support the Thai GPO and Silpakorn University would conduct a joint research on the vaccine against the virus, the minister said.
Earlier, the ministry announced 84 more patients are confirmed to have been infected with the A/H1N1 flu virus, bringing the country's total number to 1,414.
Over the past two weeks, the flu outbreak has infected about 90people a day, while Thailand's death toll from the deadly new virus has remained at three since June 27.
The country had its first two confirmed patients on May 12.
