Singapore on Tuesday confirmed 72 new cases of Influenza A/H1N1, bringing the total number of such cases to 701 in the city state.

According to a statement issued by Singapore's Ministry of Health on Tuesday night, so far, most cases of Influenza A/H1N1 in the country are mild. Of the 701 cases, 281 have fully recovered and the rest are recuperating.

Singapore reported its first confirmed case of Influenza A/H1N1on May 27.
