Final laboratory test result cleared a Finnish woman suspected of having contracted A/H1N1 influenza, according to a statement released by Social and Health Ministry of Finland on Tuesday.

The Finnish woman back from Mexico was admitted to hospital complaining of similar symptoms of H1N1 flu on April 28. She has been quarantined since last week and was formally discharged on Tuesday as her sample has shown a negative result.

Initial test results also showed that a Finnish young man, who had been examined for signs of H1N1 flu, has not contracted H1N1 flu.

There are no new cases of suspected H1N1 flu reported now in Finland, said Social and Health Ministry of Finland on Tuesday.
