Kazakhstan's Athlete Tests Positive in Asian Games, OCA Source

An athlete from Kazakhstan has tested positive for banned substances at the Asian Games, a top Olympic Council of Asia official said here on Friday.
The official, who asked not to be named, said the caught athlete is from Kazakhstan and the details will be announced at a new conference at 1730 local time (0930 GMT).
An international news service reported that the Guangzhou Games' first doping case involved a weightlifter but the OCA official told Xinhua that the athlete was not from the sport of weightlifting.
In last Asian Games in Doha, four weightlifters were disqualified for flunking doping tests.
Myanamar weightlifters Kyi Kyi Than and Oo Mya Sanda, a silver medalist in the 75kg category, both tested positive.
Uzbekistan's Elmira Ramileva was caught to have used an anabolic steroid and teammate Alexander Urinov was found to have taken cannabis.
