The file photo taken in 1999 shows Xia Hua (L), general manager of Beijing Eve Apparel Co., Ltd., pregnant for six months, still busy with phone calls in the headquarter in Beijing, capital of China. In the 1980s and 1990s, many Chinese women started to put more energy on their career, so that they chose to have a child later.
