The over exploitation of ground water had led to a significant decline in regional water resources with many water resources drying up, the ground caving in and the deterioration of water quality. This work shows several different pipes all drawing water from an underground water reserve. As water levels get lower, animals living in the water lose their habitat and the house build above it collapses.
