Pakistan to Send Relief Assistance to Japan

Pakistan will send a special flight carrying relief goods for those affected by earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

The relief goods include biscuits, milk, blankets and drinking water, the ministry said.

The relief goods are being sent by the people of Pakistan as an expression of solidarity and friendship with the people of Japan at this difficult moment, it added.

A special flight C-130 was scheduled to be sent on Wednesday, but rescheduled due to technical reasons and will leave for Japan on Thursday.
