NEW YORK, April 30 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale jolted east of Lakatoro, Vanuatu, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Monday.

The epicenter, with a depth of 269.49 km, was initially determined to be at 15.956 degrees south latitude and 168.3286 degrees east longitude. Enditem
