Spain's Ibex-35 stock index bounces back after days of losses

MADRID, March 27 (Xinhua) -- The Spanish Ibex-35 stock index saw a rise of 0.99 percent in value on Tuesday to put an end to four days of consecutive losses which had taken shares to their lowest levels in 13 months.

The Ibex-35 opened trading on 9,381.00 points and closed on 9,473.60 after peaking at a high of 9,519.20.

The best performing companies on Tuesday were Red Electrica, with a 2.59 percent improvement in share values, while telecommunications company, Cellnex Telecom shares climbed 2.40 percent in value and steel producer Acerinox shares rose by 2.29 percent over the session.

Only three companies suffered a fall in share prices, clean energy producer, Siemens Gamesa, Banco Sabadell and Industrial and Technological company Indra, which saw shares fall by 2.63, 0.30 and 0.18 percent respectively. Enditem
