LUSAKA, March 22 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Thursday.

--Zambian President Edgar Lungu has urged the private sector to invest in the pharmaceutical industry because there was a huge market for medical products in the country.

The Zambian leader said when commissioned a plant for production of pharmaceutical products by Kingphar Pharmaceutical Zambia Limited, established by a Chinese firm, that despite the presence of some companies manufacturing drugs, Zambia was still importing pharmaceutical products.
