Albanian police seize 686 kg of cannabis sativa

TIRANA, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Albania's state police Wednesday informed it found and seized 686 kilograms of cannabis sativa in a house in Korca, southeast Albania.
Police said that the narcotic substance was found in a house in the village of Bulgarec.
The police have declared wanted the owner of the house, a 45-year-old initialed K. G, who fled before police officers went to his place.
This is the second large quantity of drugs seized by Albanian authorities for this month.
A few weeks ago, Albania' state police finalized another important operation which resulted in the seizure of 613 kg of cocaine, found at a truck at Port of Durres, as part of a shipment of bananas coming from Columbia. Enditem
