LOS ANGELES, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Porsche Design Group and Huawei, the Chinese giant maker of telecommunications equipment, bring Porsche Design HUAWEI Mate 10 to the United States, delivering highly discerning customers an experience with revolutionary speed, extensive battery life, and functional design cues.
"The phone is brand new to the market in the United States. It delivered to all of our Porsche Design stores at the end of February," Adam McCollum, head of public relations of Porsche Design of America, Inc., told Xinhua in an email on Thursday.
The technologically powerful new device, driven by artificial intelligence, combines Porsche Design's aesthetic craft with Huawei's mobile engineering expertise.
"As the phone has been selling for just around a week, the only customer feedback we've received has been from the in-store clients, who really love the sleek design of the device and the features offered, which is why they say they purchased the phone," McCollum added.
With built-in AI and a combination of 6GB RAM and 256GB ROM, the phone is the top-end device in Huawei's current product range, and features the largest memory cortex of the whole HUAWEI Mate10 series -- ideal for vastly storing photos, videos, and documents.
"With Huawei we have a passionate and world-wide respected partner that shares our goals and values, which built the foundation for the creation of the new Porsche Design HUAWEI Mate 10. We are delighted to continue the successful partnership with Huawei and bring an outstanding smart phone to the market that meets the expectations of our demanding and tech-savvy customers," said Jan Becker, CEO of Porsche Design Group in a statement before the official launching of the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 in the United States.
"Our partnership with Porsche Design reflects both brands' philosophy that superior design is just as important as performance, and with the Porsche Design HUAWEI Mate 10, we are proud to have achieved both," said Richard Yu, CEO of HUAWEI Consumer Business Group. Enditem
