JAKARTA, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- The Asian Games committee (Inasgoc) has rescheduled the deadline for test events of basketball, volleyball and football, the chairman of the committee revealed here on Thursday.

The deadline was rescheduled to January 22 from January 17, chairman of Inasgoc Erick Thohir said.

He added that it is not certain the names and number of countries and regions that will take part in the test event.

"The deadline of the test event is next week," the chairman said.

Thohir said that the decision was taken to partly ensure that the system be well-established.
