Islamic organ condemns Baghdad's suicide bombings

RABAT, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) on Monday condemned the two suicide bombings in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad that killed 27 people.

This act of terrorism, which targeted citizens, private and public property, is a terrible crime that deserves the most severe punishment, ISESCO said in a statement.

The Islamic organ affirmed its support for Iraq in face of terrorism. It also offered condolences to the families of the victims.

Two suicide bombers blew themselves up at a busy street market in central Baghdad earlier Monday, killing 27 people and wounding 92 others. Enditem
