Earthquake jolts Athens

ATHENS, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale, according to preliminary estimations by Greek seismologists, jolted Athens on Monday evening.

No injuries or serious material damages have been reported.

The tremor's epicenter was located to about 29 kilometers northeast of Athens at a 5-kilometer depth. Enditem
