Indian markets close higher

MUMBAI, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Monday as equity benchmark extended their gain from the morning session. The rally was led by gains in Yes Bank, HDFC, and Hero MotoCorp.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 34,843.51, 251.12 points or 0.73 percent up compared to its previous close at 34,592.39. Enditem
