MAIDAN SHAHR, Afghanistan, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Two Taliban senior commanders are among the 10 militants killed in the eastern Wardak province on Sunday, spokesman for provincial government Abdul Rahman Mangal said.

"Acting on a tipoff, the security forces stormed a Taliban hideout in Sayed Abad district early today morning, killing 10 rebels including notorious commanders Qari Najibullah alias Rahbar and Mawlawi Waris alias Abas on the spot," Mangal told Xinhua.
