3 die, 45 injured in car-bus collision in Czech Republic

PRAGUE, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- Three people died and another 45 passengers were injured in a car-bus collision accident near Horomerice, a small town near the capital city of Prague, in Czech Republic on Friday afternoon, police said.

The accident involving a public bus and a Skoda Superb car happened around 16:00 on No. 240 road Friday.

Police spokeswoman Monika Schindlova said the driver of the car and two bus passengers were killed in the incident.

According to Jana Postova, spokeswoman for the Prague rescue service, five of the injured, including two children, are in very serious condition, ten have moderate injuries and 30 have suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is being investigated. Enditem
