SEOUL -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Sunday sent the list of its five-member delegation to South Korea through the restored hotline in the truce village of Panmunjom for next week's high-level inter-Korean talks, Seoul's unification ministry said.
The DPRK delegation will be led by Ri Son-gwon, chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland (CPRF), according to South Korea's unification ministry in charge of inter-Korean affairs. (S.Korea-DPRK-Talks)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, president of the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP), on Sunday lauded peace and development over the past 39 years under the party's leadership.
"Cambodia, previously was a killing field, a protracted battlefield of war, a fearful insecure place, has become a land of peace and freedom, where people live in harmony, and an attractive tourist destination in the region and in the world," he said in a speech during the commemoration of the 39th anniversary of the Liberation Day in Phnom Penh. VIENTIANE -- Chinese Ambassador to Laos Wang Wentian has visited Lao former President Khamtay Siphandone, during which the latter spoke highly of the Laos-China ties, according to the Chinese embassy in Laos on Sunday.
During the visit last Wednesday, Wang extended his New Year greetings to Khamtay, and introduced the achievements of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) as well as the visit to Laos by Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.
